The problem with this book is all it does is push a lifestyle. I am greatly encouraged by the idea that someone would take the time to write a book for bi-sexual teens, as I'm sure there are a lot of confused teens out there trying to understand themselves.Unfortunately, this book is poorly written, has no real plot, and the characters are barely interesting enough to grab the reader's attention. I read it all the way through, hoping it would get better, but it merely stayed lackluster.I've never read Rainbow Boys, but if the writing is anything like this, Sanchez needs to keep on writing. I'm sad that this book won awards, because I think it is a shame when promoting an idea is enough to get you praise. You should be awarded for having both excellent subject matter and excellent writing and Sanchez falls far short on the latter.
