This is the second of my reluctant 5 stars today. There are some books that are easy to pinpoint why you like them. The characters, the writing style, the story line, etc. In my case, none of these really did anything for me. This book is well written, for certain and is probably one of the FEW books IN THE WORLD that I actually think should be written in first person present tense. But the characters didn't really grab me, the writing style wasn't my favorite, and the story line left me either repelled or with more questions. It takes more than a girl who fights to make me like a book. It takes more than a girl who's a badass. At the end of the day, though, I'll take Tris and her story above most others. I couldn't stop reading this book, and that is why I gave it the rating I did.
