This book was definitely better for me. Wendy stops being as annoying, she starts to take her responsibilities as a princess seriously, and she and Finn finally realize they may not be the best match. I think one of Amanda Hocking's strengths is her side characters. I liked every single one of them. Her brother, her best friends, even the queen starts to look less horrible. I loved Tovin and pitied him all at the same time. Of course, there is Loki, as well. I must admit, I was rooting for him from the start. Such a better person for Wendy than Finn. Sorry Finn. You're a nice guy and everything, but not the right guy in this case.
