Pieces of Stars

Unfortunately, most of this book did nothing for me. I didn't feel like there was anything new here. When I read the previous three books I felt transported, but this book was like reading an epilogue stretched out into a whole story. The characters felt repetitive, especially when paired with a new character from the past.I think this would have done very well as a novella, but there is not enough story to give the prince his own book and the result, for me, was that the book dragged. It was like watching a runner in a hurdle race... he jumps over hurdle after hurdle after hurdle, but the race is too long and the audience loses interest when he finally gets to the end.Don't get me wrong, the book was well written. It was really well written. And the ending was enough to make me teary-eyed. But while the first 3 are re-reads for me, this did not stand up.
